• Day begins in the very early morning and ends in the afternoon, hours vary on a day to day basis.

• Once deliveries are completed, driver returns to warehouse to pick orders for the next day.

• NOT a seasonal position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include, but are not limited to:

• Pulling orders for delivery by navigating a large warehouse.

• Driving a pre-determined route, delivering to our existing customer base.

• Following delivery and account-specific instructions to deliver orders in a correct and timely manner, including health and safety guidelines. 

• Merchandising product in stores by accurately and conscientiously putting away wine deliveries in various locations throughout the store, displaying the product in a tidy and professional manner. Following the directions specified by the sales rep, or wine person at location. 

• Assisting with receiving freight deliveries to our warehouse and putting away freight into pick locations.

• Effectively communicating with sales staff and office staff, notifying the appropriate contacts of any issues or questions immediately.

• Assisting in keeping warehouse clean, neat, safe, and efficient, and notifying the team of any maintenance requirements for your assigned vehicle.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

• Safe driving skills, and the ability to drive an 18-foot cargo van (no special certifications needed).

• Excellent customer service skills.

• The capacity to load and unload goods safely, and to maneuver a hand truck.

• The capacity to lift heavy packages (~40+ pounds) repeatedly.

• The ability to manage time well and work efficiently, including managing delivery cut- offs, 

• A strong attention to detail to fulfill orders correctly.

• Have a clean driving record for the last five years.

• Be at least 21 years old.

• Have the ability to interact positively with a variety of customers.

Previous warehouse and/or delivery experience is preferred, but not required.

Compensation range $20-$22 per hour.
